How to prepare for a job interview
A simple plan you can follow even if your interview is tomorrow.
1. Know the role
Read the job description and pick the three skills they care about most. Have one real example for each.
2. Prepare the classic questions
Tell me about yourself. Why this role? A time you solved a problem. Your strengths and weaknesses. Questions for them.
3. Say your answers out loud
Answers that sound good in your head often come out muddled. Practise speaking them, then check what you left out.
4. Listen again before you go in
Play your notes back on the commute so the key points are fresh when it matters.
